All Aboard the Marriage Hearse

Sean and Amy are your typical co-habitating, Catholic/Jewish, twenty-something couple living in Manhattan. They work hard, love each other and share common goals in life. Well, sort of. After nearly three years together, Amy wants to get married but Sean does not believe in the institution.

The game is on!!!

Tonight is the night when they will settle the marriage question once and for all. They will both bring their “A” game and the gloves will come off. Will they break up? Will they keep going on the path they’re on? Will they climb aboard the “Marriage Hearse”?

It’s the perfect show for anyone who has ever been married, will be married, wants to be married, doesn’t want to be married, has thought about getting married, has been told they should be married, knows someone who is married, knows someone who wants to be married, knows someone who was married, knows someone who should be married, knows someone who shouldn’t be married, has parents who are married, has parents who were married, has parents who shouldn’t be married, and everyone else!

Theater for the New City presents:

All Aboard The Marriage Hearse

Thursday, January 03, 2008 through Sunday, January 27, 2008

Tickets: $20

Saving Gracie B. Jones

This week I leave for Kansas City to join up with the production of Saving Gracie B. Jones, starring Tatum Oneal, Penelope Ann Miller, and Piper Laurie. The production has been filming for a few weeks#–I will be coming in to play the role of Pete, a soldier recently returned from over seas.

I’ll be sure to post more info as I know the details… I will be taking a leave from Angry Young Women… until shooting ends for me on the film. The cast recently added two new actors: John Driscoll (Guiding Light) and Jennifer Missoni (Law and Order). Broadwayworld.com has a great interview with John.

Eat Me!

This weekend I shot a short film called “Eat Me”. The plot is a little hard to explain, as you kind of have to see it to understand it… needless to say, it’s high concept.

The crew was GREAT:

Anya Meksin, Writer & Producer
Aaron Walker, Director
Rashi deStefano, Assistant Director
Ian BloomJulie Buck, Director of Photography
Andy Parker, Assistant Camera
Aaron Schuelke, Grip
Andrea Ciganek, Hair & Makeup
Jesse Millward, Grip
Zubin Jelveh, General Awesome Dude
Alex Goldberg, Grip
Jeremy Craig, Gaffer
Anthony (aT) Thompson, Sound
Julie Buck, Props

And the actress playing opposite me, Sarah Kozinn, was incredible… she’s going places, so keep an eye out.

Here’s a link to photos from the shoot
